Gamemaker, a popular and easy to use game creation platform has just gotten bigger and better. Orginally a one man project of Mark Overmars, a a full professor at the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Gamemaker has gone through 6 versions of improvement.
Now the development of Gamemaker 7 has been taken over by a team at YoYo Games which includes Sandy Duncan, former head of Xbox in Europe and Mark Overmars in executive positions.
InTheGames (pronounced in-de-games) is launched! We focus on serving up home made or small budget games (which are mostly free or open source) and Game Making and Creation Tools and Engines.
